WORKSHOP with NOVA YÕU

 

 

The workshops are intended for individuals interested in using perfo- and choreo-GRAPHIC strategies as methods in a transmedial creative process, as well as in introducing elements of performativity and/or aleatoricism into artistic activities. I will offer participants a series of actions in physical and linguistic space that will activate the potential of the situation without the use of additional props or a scripted plan.

Basing the work solely on the circumstances at hand (TIME, SPACE, AWARENESS, DREAMING, MEMORY) and on associative, intuitive, as well as hermeneutic practices, the participants will be tasked with carrying out semantic transformations that will determine the potential meaning of simple gestures / objects / events. The material for these actions will be:
